President & CEO, Larry LaFreniere purchases the near obscurity Electric Supply Center at 328 Cambridge Street, Burlington MA

This 1997 purchase of ESC included an established
Wakefield location, originally located in the old Wakefield Rattan Building.

2000

Burlington moves to larger space at 240 Middlesex Turnpike, in the old Manion’s Star space

2003
Wakefield expands to a larger space on New Salem Street
2004
Burlington expands to the old FW Webb Building on 200 Middlesex Tpk
2012

Wentworth Co-Op Program Started

ESC adds a Lighting Project Sales Team
2013

ESC does a major rebranding

ESC Opens it’s 3rd branch in Gloucester MA

Opens it’s 4th Branch in Mansfield, MA
Begins Offering Overnight Delivery
Partners with the Mass Save Program

Opens it’s 5th sales counter location in Woburn, to also be the company’s Central Distribution Center

ESC Receives State Workforce Training Grant

Gloucester relocates to larger space in Peabody MA

Partner with the Boston Bruins as the Official Electrical Distributor.

The ESC Logo is added to center ice at TD Garden.

Late Night delivery becomes “Night Owl” Overnight Delivery service...
with a newly branded Night Owl fleet of trucks!

ESC now has 6 locations in New England, employs over 130 people, and has expanded it’s Project team to include Switchgear, Lighting, and EV!
